Processing times
depends on the video codec and length of the source file. If it was a h264 with aac audio it would be playable in a couple of minutes. If we had to transcode before the file could be played, it would generally be at 4x real time. So a 2 hour movie would take 25-30 mins to create a playable proxy.
Proxy Playback information
The HD Proxy playback will be at a rate for 5 Mb/sec.
